Curried Fruit - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. can apricot halves
    1 lb. can pear halves
    1 can bing cherries
    3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
    1 lb. can peach halves
    1/3 c. butter
    3 Tbsp. curry powder (be careful)
Preparation
    Drain fruit.
    Melt butter; add sugar and curry powder.
    Put fruit in casserole.
    Cover with butter mixture.
    Bake, uncovered, at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Check in 15 to 20 minutes.
    Add almonds or other nuts, if desired.
