Pepper Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. oil
1 medium green pepper
about 10 large mushrooms
1 medium onion
1 medium carrot
1 lb. frying steak
1 jar brown gravy
salt and pepper
4 c. cooked rice
Preparation

Slice the vegetables and steak into thin strips.
Heat oil in large frying pan.
Saute vegetables until onion is transparent. Remove from pan and set them aside.
Reheat pan.
Over medium flame, brown steak, stirring often.
Add gravy and vegetables (including any juices that settled).
Salt and pepper to taste. Cover, reduce heat and simmer at least 30 minutes, no more than 1 hour.
Stir occasionally.
Serve over rice.
