1969 Pecan Honey Cake(Greek) - cooking recipe

6 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 c. sifted flour
2 heaping tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 lb. chopped fine pecans
2 c. sugar
2 c. water
2 c. honey
Preparation

Boil sugar and water for 10 minutes to make thin syrup, then add honey and cool.
