Mango Butter - cooking recipe
Ingredients

12 c. peeled, half-ripe mango slices
3 c. water
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
6 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. ground nutmeg
Preparation

Add water to mangoes and cook until soft enough to mash. Press through a sieve if the mangoes are stringy.
Add sugar and spices.
Cook slowly for 45 minutes or until thick.
Stir frequently to prevent burning.
Pour into hot sterile glasses and seal with paraffin.
