Natchez Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    15 whole graham crackers
    1 c. unsalted butter
    1 c. firmly packed dark brown sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 1/3 c. chopped toasted pecans
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Lightly butter 11 x 17-inch cookie sheet.
    Arrange crackers side by side in pan.
    Stir butter and sugar together in pan until sugar melts.
    Mix in vanilla. Increase heat and boil 1 minute.
    Pour over crackers.
    Top with nuts and bake 10 minutes.
    Remove from oven and pour chocolate chips on top.
    Cool 4 minutes.
    Cut along crackers to separate.
