Hotel Roanoke'S Spoon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. corn meal
    1/8 lb. butter (margarine)
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. sugar
    5 eggs
    2 c. milk (1% skim-substitute)
    1 1/2 c. boiling water
    1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Mix corn meal, salt and sugar together.
    Scald with boiling water.
    Add melted butter.
    Beat eggs, then add milk to eggs.
    Put two mixtures together.
    Add baking powder.
    Mix well.
    Pour into greased baking dish.
    Bake 30 to 40 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven.
