Trifle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 angel food cake
    2 bags frozen strawberries
    1 large box strawberry or cherry jello
    16 oz. Cool Whip
Preparation
    Mix jello according to package directions.
    Allow to partially congeal.
    Slice partially thawed strawberries in half (easier to work with this way).
    In a large bowl, place a layer of cake (using 1/2 the cake) broken into several (about 10 or 12) pieces. Distribute 1/2 of the strawberries over the cake for the second layer.
    Pour 1/2 of the partially congealed jello as the third layer.
    Top with 8 ounces of the Cool Whip.
    Repeat layers.
    Keep in the refrigerator.
