Ingredients

6 eggs
1/2 c. orange juice
1/3 c. Grand Marnier
1/2 c. half and half
1/4 tsp. salt
grated peel from one orange
cinnamon to taste
cut loaf French bread (2 inch thick slices)
flour
oatmeal
sugar
milk
yeast
eggs
cardamon
Preparation

Heat 2 cups skim milk.
Put in large bowl.
Add 4 tablespoons sugar (somewhat more if you want a slightly sweeter taste).
Add 2 eggs (or 3 egg whites/no yolks, if you want to lower your LDL cholesterol).
Carefully add 1 tablespoon cardamon.
Stir.
Mixture should be warm (just about body temperature if you have a high fever).
Add 1 package yeast.
Add 2 or 3 cups flour and 1 cup whole oats.
Mix well and let rise several hours.
