The Pinkston Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 egg whites
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
3 c. plain flour
1 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add baking powder, salt and flour, alternately with milk, to mixture, starting and ending with flour. Set aside.
Beat egg whites and vanilla until soft peaks form. Add to preceding mixture.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until done in pan that has been greased and floured.
