Thanksgiving Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 slices bacon, fried until crisp
1/4 c. bacon grease
2 c. chopped onions
4 c. chopped potatoes
1/2 c. chopped celery
2 c. turkey broth
1/2 tsp. salt
4 c. turkey, cooked and cut up
1 can whole kernel corn
1 can cream-style corn
1 pt. half and half
dash of coarsely ground pepper
Preparation

Fry bacon.
Drain and reserve.
Saute until tender the onions in bacon grease.
Then add potatoes, celery, turkey broth and salt. Simmer, covered, until potatoes and celery are tender.
Add turkey, whole kernel corn, cream-style corn, half and half and ground pepper.
Heat thoroughly.
