Dilly Casserole Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1/4 c. warm water
    1 c. creamed cottage cheese, heated to lukewarm
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. minced onion
    1 Tbsp. butter
    2 tsp. dill seed
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1 unbeaten egg
    2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Soften yeast in warm water.
    Combine in mixing bowl with warm cottage cheese, sugar, onion, butter, dill seed, salt, soda and egg.
    Add flour to form a stiff dough, beating well after each addition.
    Cover and let rise until doubled in size (50 to 60 minutes).
    Stir dough down.
    Place in well-greased 8-inch round casserole (1 1/2 to 2 quarts) and let rise in warm place 30 to 40 minutes.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 50 minutes until golden brown.
    Brush with butter and sprinkle with salt.
    Makes one loaf.
