Summer Sausage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. hamburger
    1/4 c. Morton quick curing salt (Tender Quick)
    2 tsp. hickory or smoked salt
    2 1/2 tsp. coarsely ground pepper
    2 1/2 tsp. mustard seed
    2 tsp. garlic salt
    1/4 c. brown sugar
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients thoroughly.
    Refrigerate in covered dish for 3 days. Form into 5 loaves (2 1/4-inch in diameter).
    Place on rack of oven in pan. Bake 15 hours at 150\u00b0.
    Wipe with paper towel.
    Refrigerate or freeze.
