Sheet Fruit Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 lb. candied pineapple
3/4 lb. candied cherries (red and green)
2 c. chopped nuts
2 sticks butter
4 eggs, beaten
2 c. self-rising flour
1 box light brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs, flour and vanilla.
Mix well.
Grease and flour the pan.
Spread nuts on bottom of pan. Pour batter over nuts and press in.
Mix chopped fruits together. Sprinkle over batter and press in.
Bake for 1 hour at 250\u00b0 in 11 x 15 x 2-inch pan.
Cut when cool.
