Marlene'S Gingerbread Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. flour
3/4 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/4 c. shortening
1/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. molasses
1/2 c. hot water
Preparation

Cream sugar and shortening well; add egg and molasses.
Sift dry ingredients together and mix into creamed mixture, 1/2 dry ingredients, then hot water and end with other 1/2 dry ingredients.
Bake in muffin papers in muffin tin at 375\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
