Chile Rellenos Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 (4 oz.) cans green chiles
    1/2 c. half and half
    1/3 c. flour
    2 eggs
    1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
    1/2 lb. Monterey Jack cheese, grated
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
Preparation
    Split, seed and rinse chiles.
    Drain on paper towel.
    Beat eggs and flour, then beat in half and half.
    Mix cheeses together. Reserve 1/2 cup.
    In lightly greased 2-quart casserole, layer chiles, cheese and egg mixture, 3 layers.
    Pour tomato sauce over top and sprinkle reserved cheese on top.
    Bake in microwave on High 25 to 30 minutes.
    Let stand a few minutes before serving.
    Or bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
