Honey Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. shortening (Crisco)
    2 sq. chocolate, melted
    1/2 c. buckwheat honey
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix shortening and chocolate together. Add honey, vanilla, sugar and eggs; mix well.
    Sift and then combine flour, baking powder and salt with other ingredients.
    Place batter in well-greased square pan.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Cool, cut and serve.
