Chocolate Crown Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs
    1/3 c. melted butter
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 stick butter (1/2 c.)
    1 1/2 c. sugar plus 4 Tbsp. sugar (for whipped topping)
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/4 c. buttermilk
    1 pt. whipping cream
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Melt 1/3
    cup
    chocolate chips;
    set aside.
    Grease and flour bottoms of 2 (9-inch) cake pans.
    Combine graham cracker crumbs and melted\tbutter.
    Stir in walnuts and 2/3 cup chocolate chips; set
    aside.
    Combine
    flour,
    soda\tand
    salt; set aside.
    Cream butter, gradually
    add
    1
    1/2 cups sugar; cream well.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well. Blend in melted chocolate chips
    and vanilla.
    Add dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk (starting
    and
    ending with dry ingredients). Pour 1/2 batter into
    each pan.
    Sprinkle with crumb mixture. Bake at 375\u00b0 for
    30 to 40 minutes.
    Cool.
    Wrap in wax paper and
    refrigerate.
    Mix whipping
    cream
    for
    approximately
    2 minutes with 4 tablespoons sugar and put in between layers and on top of cake.
