Baked Macaroni With Cheese - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. macaroni
1/2 lb. sharp Cheddar
4 tsp. minced onion
3/4 tsp. salt and pepper
2 Tbsp. butter
1 Tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
2 c. milk
fine dry bread crumbs
Preparation

Melt butter and add onion, flour, mustard, salt, pepper and milk.
Cut 3/4 of cheese in thin slices and add to mixture, stirring constantly until cheese is melted.
Remove from heat. Boil macaroni in salted water for 9 minutes.
Butter casserole dish and mix sauce and macaroni.
Slice rest of cheese and lay on top of mixture.
Sprinkle liberally with fine, dry bread crumbs and bake (uncovered) at 350\u00b0 for approximately 1 hour.
