Tijuana Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 (15 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 pkg. taco seasoning
    12 soft corn tortillas
    Cheddar cheese
    sour cream
    sliced tomatoes
Preparation
    Brown meat and onions.
    Drain.
    Add stewed tomatoes, sauce and taco seasoning.
    Simmer 10 minutes.
    Place 2 tortillas side by side in baking dish.
    Put meat mixture on top of tortillas, then sprinkle with cheese (about 3 large tablespoons of mixture on each layer).
    Repeat until each stack has 6 tortillas.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Add sour cream and sliced tomatoes on top.
