Shrimp Creole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1 c. oil
    2 c. onion, chopped
    1/2 c. bell pepper, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 pack shrimp
    1 large can tomatoes
    2 small cans tomato paste or tomato sauce
    1 can Ro-Tel
    1/4 tsp. cayenne
    parsley flakes
Preparation
    Make roux of flour and cooking oil. Add onions, bell peppers and garlic and cook until soft. Add tomatoes and tomato paste. Mix well and cook about 5 minutes. Add about 6 cups water and the rest of the seasonings. Let simmer for 1 hour. Add shrimp and cook for 15 minutes. Add parsley and continue to cook until sauce is thick. Serve over hot rice.
