Icebox Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. yeast
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    1 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. sugar
    6 c. flour
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in one cup of lukewarm water.
    Add 1 teaspoon sugar and let stand until foamy.
    Beat eggs.
    Add to the yeast mixture.
    Then add shortening, melted and cooled.
    Combine, then add 1 cup hot water, salt and sugar.
    Stir in 6 cups flour.
    Grease the top and cover with a tea towel.
    Chill overnight.
    Knead, adding small amount of flour, to make an elastic dough.
    Shape into rolls and place on a greased sheet.
    Let rise for 2 hours or until doubled in size.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for about 12 minutes or until cooked through and golden brown.
