Ingredients

3/4 c. margarine
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. molasses
1 egg
1 tsp. each: ginger and cinnamon
2 1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 c. flour
Preparation

Combine all ingredients to form a stiff dough.
Roll into balls the size of a walnut; roll in sugar and place on greased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until dry and somewhat firm to the touch, 10 to 12 minutes.
