Sarah'S Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. torn head lettuce
    2 c. torn curly endive
    2 c. torn romaine lettuce
    6 Tbsp. mayonnaise
    1 medium thinly sliced red onion
    1 1/2 c. drained, cooked peas
    1 c. julienne strips Swiss cheese
    6 slices cooked crisp bacon
Preparation
    Place 1/3 of the salad greens in a bowl; dot with 1/3 of mayonnaise.
    Top with 1/3 of the onion slices.
    Sprinkle with sugar (about 1 teaspoon!).
    Dash with salt and pepper.
    Add 1/3 of the peas and cheese.
    Repeat layers, seasoning each.
    Do not toss.
    Cover and chill at least 2 hours.
    Just before serving, crumble bacon over top and toss.
