Peach Gelatin Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. orange gelatin
    2 cinnamon sticks
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 (16 oz.) can sliced peaches
    3 whole cloves
Preparation
    Drain peaches.
    Add water to peach juice to make 1 cup.
    Add to juice, vinegar, cinnamon sticks and cloves.
    Boil for 2 minutes. Let stand.
    Make Jell-O as usual, only 1 cup water though.
    Combine with boiled mixture.
    Arrange sliced peaches in Pyrex dish.
    Pour mixture over peaches.
    Chill until solid.
    Serve on lettuce. Mayonnaise may be spread on top.
