Italian Cream Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter
    1/2 c. oil
    2 c. sugar
    5 egg yolks
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. coconut
    1/2 c. finely chopped nuts
    5 egg whites
Preparation
    Combine butter, sugar, egg yolks and oil.
    Stir soda into buttermilk.
    Add flour to batter, alternating with buttermilk. Add vanilla, coconut and nuts.
    Beat egg whites until stiff and fold them into batter.
    Pour into 3 greased and floured 8-inch cake pans.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
