Chocolate Fudge Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour, sifted
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
2 1/4 c. sugar
4 Tbsp. milk
2 tsp. vanilla
3 egg yolks
4 sq. unsweetened chocolate, melted
1 1/4 c. milk
3 egg whites, stiffly beaten
Preparation

Combine flour, baking powder and salt; set aside.
Cream together the shortening and sugar.
Add milk and vanilla; mix well.
Add the egg yolks, reserving the whites.
Add the melted unsweetened chocolate.
Add the milk and the flour mixture alternately.
Stir in stiffly beaten egg whites by hand.
Bake in 2 (8 x 8-inch) round pans or 1 (9 x 13-inch) pan at 350\u00b0 until done.
