Corn Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1/2 c. onion, chopped
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 or 3 dashes of garlic salt
    4 cans cream of potato soup
    4 c. milk
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 can whole kernel corn
Preparation
    Saute onion, pepper and seasonings in butter in large pot. Stir in soup, milk, cream cheese and corn.
    Bring to boil, stirring occasionally.
    Cover; reduce heat to low.
    Cook 5 to 7 minutes. Makes 16 servings.
    Works well to halve the recipe.
    May add fresh shrimp if desired.
    Excellent soup!
