Onion And Potato Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 green onions
1 small onion, shredded thin
2 Tbsp. butter
5 medium potatoes, sliced thin
1 qt. chicken broth
1/2 tsp. salt
pinch of cayenne pepper
3 c. light cream or whole milk
Preparation
-
Saute green and regular onions lightly in butter.
Stir in potatoes, broth and seasonings.
Cover and simmer gently for 45 minutes.
Put in blender and blend to cool.
Stir in milk.
Serve hot or cold in demi cups.
