Hot Rolls * - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. boiling water
1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. salt
1 c. Crisco
4 pkg. yeast
1 c. lukewarm water
4 eggs, beaten
14 c. flour
melted butter
Preparation

Mix sugar, Crisco and salt with boiling water.
Cool until lukewarm.
Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water and add to cooled mixture.
Add eggs, beat in 6 cups flour.
Stir in remaining flour by hand.
Let rise until double, punch down.
Roll out dough on floured surface, cut and fold over.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet, brush with melted butter and let rise.
Bake at 400\u00b0 to 425\u00b0 about 10 to 15 minutes.
May be baked until half done, then frozen.
Makes about 7 dozen.
