Frozen Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head cabbage
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 medium carrot
    1 small onion
    1 bell pepper
    1/2 c. water
    1 c. vinegar
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. mustard seed
Preparation
    Boil together 1 cup white vinegar, 1/2 cup water and 2 cups sugar.
    Add to this 1 teaspoon celery seed and 1 teaspoon mustard seed.
    Let cool.
    Shred cabbage; add 1 tablespoon salt and mix well.
    Let stand 1 hour.
    Squeeze out all liquid.
    Then add to cabbage 1 grated carrot, 1 bell pepper (finely chopped) and 1 small onion (finely chopped).
    Pour cooled vinegar mixture over this.
    Freeze in containers you would want to use one at a time.
