Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. beef tenderloin or boneless top loin steak (about 1/2-inch thick)
    2 Tbsp. margarine or butter
    1 1/2 c. beef broth
    2 Tbsp. ketchup
    1 tsp. salt
    1 small clove garlic, finely chopped or 1/8 tsp. instant minced garlic
    8 oz. mushrooms, sliced
    1 medium onion, chopped (about 1/2 c.)
    3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1 c. dairy sour cream
Preparation
    Cut beef tenderloin across grain into strips, each about 1 1/2 x 1/2-inch.
    Cook and stir beef in margarine in 10-inch skillet over low heat until brown.
    Reserve 1/3 cup of the broth.
    Stir remaining broth, the ketchup, salt and garlic into skillet.
    Heat to boiling; reduce heat.
    Cover and simmer until beef is tender, about 10 minutes.
