Bread(Four Loaves) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cake yeast
    1 qt. warm water
    4 Tbsp. sugar
    3 tsp. salt
    4 Tbsp. shortening
    12 c. flour
Preparation
    Measure all ingredients.
    Follow each step carefully.
    Test lukewarm water.
    Dissolve sugar, salt and yeast in the quart of warm water.
    Pour liquid into the 12 cups flour.
    Stir until it is all mixed well.
    Add shortening; stir in the dough and then knead until it is smooth and elastic to the touch.
    Place dough in a bowl and let rise.
    Knead again and let rise again.
    Roll into four loaves.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 45 minutes to an hour.
