French Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 oz. loaf French bread (without seeds)
    8 eggs
    3 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. butter, cut in pieces
    4 tsp. sugar
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Grease a 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Cut bread into 1-inch thick slices and lay in pan.
    Beat all other ingredients, pour over bread and refrigerate 4 to 36 hours.
    Dot with butter.
    Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes, until puffy and light brown.
    Let stand 5 minutes.
