Congo Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. margarine
    1 pkg. brown sugar
    3 eggs
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    2 1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1 large pkg. chocolate chips
    1 c. nut meats
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine first 3 ingredients.
    Mix well.
    Add next 3 ingredients.
    Mix well.
    Add last 3 ingredients.
    Pour batter into lightly greased 9 x 13-inch pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 25 to 35 minutes.
    Wait until cooled, then cut into squares.
