Ingredients

1 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 cup confectioners sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

In mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar.
Add egg and extracts; beat until light and fluffy.
Combine flour and salt; add to creamed mixture and mix well.
Chill for 1-2 hours.
On a lightly floured surface, roll dough to 1/8 inch thickness.
Cut with 2 1/2 inch cutters.
Place on greased baking sheets.
Bake at 375 degrees for 7-9 minutes or until lightly browned.
Cool on wire racks.
