Baked Cavatelli - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. wagon wheel macaroni
    12 oz. Italian sausage links, sliced in 1/2-inch pieces
    3/4 c. chopped green onions
    2 cloves minced garlic
    1 (15 oz.) jar tomato sauce
    1 (14 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce with mushrooms
    4 oz. Mozzarella cheese (1 c. shredded)
    1 tsp. Italian seasoning
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Prepare pasta according to directions; drain and set aside. In large skillet, cook sausage.
    Remove from skillet and drain fat (reserve 1 tablespoon).
    Cook green onions and garlic in it.
    In a 2-quart casserole, combine cooked pasta, sausage, onion, tomato sauce, spaghetti sauce, half of Mozzarella, Italian seasoning and pepper.
    Bake, covered in a 375\u00b0 oven for 25 minutes.
    Sprinkle remaining cheese and bake for 5 to 10 minutes more.
    Serves 6.
