*Butterscotch Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. light brown sugar
    2/3 c. corn syrup
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. light cream or evaporated milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Boil sugar, syrup and butter together for 5 minutes, stirring until sugar is dissolved.
    Add cream or milk; bring to boiling point again.
    Add vanilla and serve hot or cold.
    Especially good over ice cream.
