Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. white sugar
    1 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. white Karo
    2 Tbsp. Marshmallow Creme
    1/2 stick butter
    pinch of salt
    pinch of soda
Preparation
    Cook to a soft ball and add 1 cup nuts.
    Beat by hand until it can be dropped on greased paper.
    (This hardens too fast for an electric mixer.)
    I usually set it in a pan of cool water while beating to help it cool.
