Chocolate Chip Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 lb. butter, softened (room temperature)
    3/4 c. white granulated sugar
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    2 tsp. pure vanilla
    1/2 tsp. water
    2 eggs
    2 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1 lb. nuts (pecans), coarsely chopped
Preparation
    Sift together first 3 ingredients.
    Set aside.
    Cream together butter and both sugars until light and fluffy.
    Beat in vanilla, water and eggs.
    Combine butter/egg mixture with the dry ingredients; mix well.
    Fold in chocolate chips and nuts.
    Drop by teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.
    Bake 8 to 10 minutes in preheated 375\u00b0 oven.
    Cool on wire racks. Makes 50 to 60.
