Dates Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. dates
1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
8 Tbsp. margarine
1 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 c. raisins
1 c. nuts
Preparation

Set stove at 373\u00b0; beat flour with eggs, margarine and sugar until smooth.
Add dates, raisins and nuts one at a time; beat altogether until smooth.
Place in a 6 x 3-inch pan, then place in oven for 45 minutes, then add brown sugar and serve.
