German Coffee Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. milk, scalded
1 pkg. yeast
2 Tbsp. lukewarm water
2 1/4 c. flour
1/3 c. or less sugar
1/4 c. melted oleo
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. raisins (optional)
Preparation

Cool scalded milk to lukewarm, then add to the yeast that has been dissolved in the 2 tablespoons warm water.
Add beaten eggs, sugar, salt and melted oleo.
Beat in the 2 1/4 cups flour; beat until your arm gets tired.
Ha!
Pour into a greased 8-inch square pan.
