Tea Cakes(1860) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    4 c. flour
    nutmeg to taste
    vanilla to taste
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs, flour, nutmeg and vanilla. Mix well.
    Roll, cut and bake at 375\u00b0.
