Hot Mulled Cider - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    9 whole cloves
    9 whole allspice
    4 cinnamon sticks
    4 qt. apple cider
    1 c. brown sugar
    2 lemons, thinly sliced
Preparation
    Tie cloves, allspice and cinnamon in cheesecloth; place in a large kettle or crock-pot with cider and sugar.
    Simmer.
    Serve with a lemon slice in each serving.
    Makes 16 servings.
