Quick Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. warm water
1 pkg. dry yeast
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 egg, beaten
2 Tbsp. soft shortening
2 1/2 c. flour
Preparation

Add yeast to warm water and mix.
Add sugar, salt, egg and shortening and mix.
Add 1/2 flour and mix.
Add rest of flour and mix.
Knead for 10 minutes.
Place in greased bowl and cover.
Let rise in warm place about 1 hour to double in bulk.
Pan rolls and let rise in warm place about 1 hour.
Bake 20 to 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Spray with Pam or brush with melted butter.
Dough can be made the night before and placed in refrigerator for use the next day.
