Red Cabbage With Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. shredded red cabbage
    3/4 c. water
    3 large apples, peeled and diced
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1 1/2 tsp. flour
    1/4 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Combine cabbage and water; simmer, covered, for 10 minutes. Add the apples, butter or margarine, vinegar, flour, brown sugar, salt and pepper.
    Simmer 15 minutes longer.
    Serves 6.
