Chocolate-Rum-Almond Sauce(Microwave) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. half and half
    1/4 c. granulated sugar
    8 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips (1 1/2 c.)
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. blanched almonds, chopped
    1/2 tsp. rum extract
Preparation
    Place half and half, sugar and chocolate in a 4-cup microwave-safe measure.
    Cover loosely with waxed paper and microwave on High for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring twice, until chocolate is melted.
    Stir in butter, nuts and extract.
    Pour into glass jar and refrigerate.
    Makes 2 cups.
