Mother Mac'S Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. allspice
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    3 large ripe bananas, mashed
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Sift together flour, soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and allspice.
    With electric mixer, cream sugar and shortening.
    Add eggs, mashed bananas, vanilla and dry ingredients and blend well. Add chopped pecans.
    Pour batter in 9 x 5 x 2-inch greased loaf pan.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 60 minutes.
    Cool for 15 minutes and remove from pan.
