Cranberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. ground fresh cranberries
    3 c. chopped apples
    3 c. sugar
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. lemon jello
    3 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Mix cranberries, apples and sugar and let stand while making jello and it is cooling.
    Dissolve jello in boiling water and let cool until thick.
    Add fruit mixture and place in pan. Refrigerate until set.
    Cut into squares and serve on lettuce with a dab of mayonnaise on top.
