Hearty Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. peeled and cubed potatoes
    3/4 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. diced pimiento
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    2 tsp. parsley flakes
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 chicken bouillon cubes
    2 c. hot water
    1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    3 c. milk, divided
Preparation
    Combine first 8 ingredients in Dutch oven.
    Dissolve bouillon cubes in hot water; add to potato mixture.
    Bring to a boil over medium heat.
    Cover, reduce heat and simmer 8 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
    Dissolve flour in 1/4 cup of milk; stir into soup.
    Add remaining milk.
    Cook over medium heat until thickened, about 25 minutes.
    Makes 10 servings.
