Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. white Karo syrup
1/3 c. water, cold
2 c. peanuts, raw
1 tsp. butter
2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

In a saucepan, mix together sugar, syrup and water.
Cook on high heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved.
Continue cooking until it begins to string off spoon.
Add peanuts, stirring until peanuts start to \"smell done\" and pop open.
Add butter.
Remove from heat.
Add baking soda and mix well.
Pour onto greased cookie sheet and let cool.
Break into pieces.
